Ster Warz: Battlefront 2 (PC, PSP)
If you haven’t played the first or second battlefront, the door is over there, and I’m sure you can get it for $10 at the game stop down the street. It is a wonderful game, where you take control of a soldier fighting for one of the 4 main factions in the Star Wars universe, across the two main eras, the Clone Wars (Episodes 1-3) and the Galactic Civil War (Episodes 4-6). The main gamemode is Conquest, which is like Battlefields conquest mode in that you must clear and capture a control point to gain control over a map to win. When you accumulate enough points, you also get a chance to play as a ‘Hero’, Darth Vader, Luke, Han, Yoda, etc. Your life is then dependent on you killing people, more kills = longer life. There are a few other gamemodes, such as CTF, and Hero Assault, where your whole team is made up of Hero characters, as is the other team, and you fight to the death! My favorite gamemode has to be Space Assault however, I just love the space combat in the game, incredible fun, on the PSP and PC. I was actually surprised at how well the PSP version was, while yes, it could be better by today’s standards, what they did what they had at the time is just great. Overall this game is on my list of Must Plays, it has fun gameplay, many maps are locations from the movies, and no two games usually turn out the same.

Gameplay: 6/10 - The gun play is fun and easy to learn, however since it is primarily based off of the Star Wars movies the game has little story.
Controls: 9/10 - Easy to lean the game doesn’t have to many keybinds.
Visuals: 8/10 - Ok graphics for 2005, the sfx also seem a bit outdated a times, but still is very fun.
Audio:9/10 - Sound Effects and Music seems to be taken directly from the movie, making for a wonderful experience.
Fun: 7/10 - Very fun to pick up and play randomly, though sometimes playing to much makes the gameplay a bit stale.
FINAL SCORE: 80/100
