Acid Trip Simulator 2012 (PC)
Edited for Clarity, really need to stop writing these with out any sleep.
Well, this is it, after 5 years of putting your heart into one of the greatest Action RPG games of all time, you finally get some closure (pffffft). The game starts off a few months after the second one, you have been grounded and stripped of rank, and your team has been split up.  Now is where you finally fight the REAL foe of the past two games, THE RAPERS. They attack Earf, and kill lots of people, you escape just in time, and head for Mars, to pick up that blue chick who you can bang. Your main goal throughout the game is to unite forces to save Earth, and the Universe. A bit into the game Cerberus tries to take control of the Citadel, but fails because Shepard completely rapes them (Of course). Once you feel ready to attack the Reapers, you and an entire fleet of ships from a wide variety of worlds assault the Reaper fleet above Earth. You land on the surface, and fight the reapers through war torn future London, and the final mission ends with you assaulting the teleport thing that leads up to the Citadel, I mean, really Reapers, just keeping a BLATANTLY OBVIOUS PORTAL TO THE CITADEL OUT IN THE OPEN? This, is the point where the writing takes a head dive off of an 81 story skyscraper straight to the pavement below. There are so many plot holes in the last 10-15 minutes of the game it’s ridiculous. I can’t even explain the fuckary in a few sentences, its just horrible writing. Did they outsource the finale like Edios outsourced Deus Ex: HR’s boss battles? After promising us a multitude of endings, you know what you get, 3 fucking endings, Red, Blue, and Green. They literally are all the same sequences just with different color overlays. And even the end cut-scenes don’t make sense. Overall the game started out fantastically, but about mid way/75% into the game, it just went full potato.
—————————————————————————
Game Play: 5/10 - Mechanics are dumbed down a lot, and the story elements really just where complete shite by the finale.
Controls: 5/10 - Again, dumbed down from the last game.
Visuals: 8/10 - Same great visuals you would expect form an ME game.
Audio: 8/10 - Great Soundtrack.
Fun: 3/10 - Mainly low due to the ending, which completely destroys the replay value of the game.
FINAL SCORE: 58/100
