Space of the Dead II (PC)

Dead Space 2 takes place 3 years after the first game, on board The Sprawl, a massive space station built into an asteroid produced during the ‘Planet-Crack’ of Titan, a moon of Jupiter. The game starts off after a little cut scene, and your instantly thrown into action, you begin in some holding device, and a straight-jacket, but someone frantically tries to get you out, when his chest is impaled with a tail, and then his head, turning him into a necromorph. The beginning chapters have you searching for a women who promises you a cure to your dementia. After you get back stabbed by her, you, another lunatic named Stross, and some hot chick all try to get the the government section of the station, in order to destroy yet another Marker. This Marker was made by using a device that pokes a needle into the subjects eye, and extracts data about the Marker. About half way there Stross stabs the hot chick in the eye with a screw driver (Seriously? This is like 500 years in the future and they are still using primitive screwdrivers?), then he starts to come for you, and you are forced to stab him in the head with it. your dead girlfriend finally gets less creepy and helps you through the final steps of destroying the Marker, and then decides that you should die and become one with the Marker. You beat her and the Marker, and the hot chick swoops in to pick you up. Overall a fun and scary game like the original, some parts will make you sick, others you might just laugh your ass off, but you will almost certainly have fun.

Game Play: 8/10 - Just as scary as the first, and introduced new enemies.

Controls: 8/10 - Just like the last game, simple and creative.

Visuals: 8/10 - Much better than Dead Space 1s graphics, the new suits also look pretty bad ass.

Audio: 9/10 - Same great quality soundtrack and monster noises.

Fun: 8/10 - You will get furious a lot during this game, but its worth it in the end, me and a friend shared a single player save on the highest difficulty and ended up getting the Foam Finger, it was just hilarious to use on another play through.

FINAL SCORE:82/100

-I apologize is this review isn’t as good as it can be, I haven’t gotten much sleep lately due to certain things going on in my life, next week will be better!
